Jemele Hill Leads the Conversation With NAACP’s Image Unscripted
A Black woman who has never flinched at telling the truth is stepping into a space built for honesty. Jemele Hill has been named host of Image Unscripted, a new podcast from the NAACP that centers culture, power, and lived experience through open and intentional conversation. The series is set to premiere on February 10, with weekly episodes available on major podcast platforms and accompanied by visual content on digital platforms.
Image Unscripted is an NAACP+ production, produced by Danielle Jones-Wesley and Cristian Colbert, who also serves as creative director. The project is executive produced by Fallon Jethroe and Robin Harrison. Together, the team brings a layered approach to storytelling that reflects both cultural relevance and institutional purpose. The podcast will feature conversations with a dynamic group of guests across comedy, film, music, and media, including Ego Nwodim, KevOnStage, Miles Caton, Tyriq Withers, Jaz Sinclair, Khleo Thomas, Kalen Allen, and Scott Evans. Each guest brings their own story, offering insight into how identity, creativity, and visibility intersect in today’s cultural landscape.
Image Unscripted will be available across major podcast platforms with accompanying visual episodes, extending the NAACP’s reach into spaces where conversation is evolving and audiences are listening differently. It reflects a growing understanding that storytelling must be both accessible and intentional.
