Michelle Obama and Nina Westbrook Named 2026 Women of Impact Honorees

Two women whose influence spans culture, wellness, and leadership will be celebrated at the 2026 Women of Impact Awards on February 13, 2026.

Michelle Obama will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. A girl from the South Side of Chicago who became the former First Lady of the United States, Obama remains our forever First Lady. Her legacy reaches far beyond the White House, shaped by a commitment to public service, storytelling, and community care. She is the host of The Michelle Obama Podcast, where she reflects on relationships, identity, and navigating life with intention. Her bestselling memoir Becoming offered a deeply personal look at her journey, while the documentary Becoming expanded that story on screen, inspiring audiences around the world.

Nina Westbrook will be honored with the Woman of Impact Award. As the tech founder of the Nebbi App, Westbrook’s work centers mental health, mindfulness, and nervous system care, with a focus on accessible and community-driven wellness. She is also the host of the Do Tell Relationship Podcast, where conversations around love, communication, and healing take center stage. Beyond podcasting, Westbrook is a leader behind Bene, a digital mental health and wellness community, and Westbrook Academy, both designed to support education, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

The 2026 Women of Impact Awards are powered by the National Basketball Wives Association, a charitable organization that supports the wives and significant others of NBA players through advocacy, service, and community engagement.
