Lifetime Unveils 'He Wasn’t Man Enough" Trailer Starring Toni Braxton, Essence Atkins, and Yvette Nicole Brown

Lifetime has released the trailer for He Wasn’t Man Enough, starring Toni Braxton, Essence Atkins, and Yvette Nicole Brown. The film is part of Lifetime’s Love a Lifetime slate celebrating Black love and marks the first project under Braxton’s multi-picture deal with the network.

Toni Braxton takes on the role of Mel Montgomery, a bestselling author who seems to have it all: success, love, and a life she built from the ground up. But when she learns that her boyfriend, Richard (Thomas Cadrot), has been unfaithful, the picture-perfect world she created begins to fall apart. The betrayal cuts even deeper when he serves her papers, claiming credit for her work and demanding half of everything she’s worked for.

The Grammy Award–winning icon also serves as executive producer through her Braxtoni Productions banner. He Wasn’t Man Enough shares the same title as Braxton’s 2000 hit single, while the second film in the deal, Breathe Again, will be inspired by her 1993 classic.

He Wasn't Man Enough will premiere on Saturday, November 22, on Lifetime.
