Nia Long Has Another Reunion Coming: Confirmed for "Are We There Yet" Franchise

  The actress is reuniting with Ice Cube for the third installment of the Are We There Yet? franchise. Nia Long is going back to a role she first played more than 20 years ago. The actress will reprise her role as Suzanne Kingston in Are They Gone Yet? , the third film in the Are We There Yet? franchise, reuniting with Ice Cube, who will return as Nick Persons. The film is currently in development at Skydance Sports. Long and Ice Cube first appeared together in the 2005 comedy Are We There Yet? , which followed Nick as he tried to win over Suzanne while taking her two children, Lindsey and Kevin, on a cross-country road trip. The pair returned for Are We Done Yet? in 2007, with Nick and Suzanne now married and building a home together. Nearly 20 years later, Suzanne and Nick are entering another chapter.
