Black Love is headed to Sundance: Love, Brooklyn to Premiere
Love, Brooklyn is set to premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Starring André Holland, DeWanda Wise, and Nicole Beharie, the film follows three longtime Brooklyn residents as they navigate shifting careers, evolving relationships, and personal loss, all while their beloved neighborhood undergoes rapid transformation. Anchored in themes of love, change, and community, the film offers an intimate portrait of what it means to hold on to home as everything around you changes.
The Sundance Film Festival has long served as a critical platform for elevating Black storytelling, offering space for nuanced narratives that center love, identity, and lived experience. Films like Love, Brooklyn reflect Sundance’s continued commitment to visibility, allowing Black creators to tell stories rooted in intimacy, community, and emotional truth. The Festival will run from January 23 to February 2 in Park City, Utah.
